Beicio Bangor is committed to improving routes and facilities for cyclists in and around Bangor.
As cyclists, we know the problems faced every day by those travelling on two wheels - but we also know the pleasures and the benefits of cycling. Within the group we have considerable knowledge of effective cycling infrastructure in Britain and abroad. We use this knowledge to:
- Lobby local and national authorities on cycling infrastructure
- Work with local and national authorities on highways and planning issues
- Listen to people to help them overcome any concerns on cycling in Bangor
Much of our campaigning work supports the Active Travel Act (Wales), 2013.
